Mobility Program

To Norwegian researchers, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows who want to invite French colleagues/researchers to Norway. Deadline: February 1, 2020.

The Norwegian University Centre in Paris (le Centre Universitaire de Norvège à Paris/CUNP) has for several years awarded scholarship grants to young Norwegian researchers for visits to France.

To secure a better mobility balance, CUNP also offers economic support to French researchers, senior scholars included, who want to visit Norwegian colleagues or Norwegian academic institutions. The call is open for applicants from the humanities, the social sciences and law.

Personal invitation

The visit to Norway must be based on a personal invitation from a Norwegian host (person or institution), and the purpose may be collaborative research, research stays up to one month, guest lecturing, joint work on project proposals, etc. Eligible, inviting institutions are NTNU, the University of Bergen, the University of Oslo and the University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway.

Small or medium-sized workshops and network meetings with French participation, arranged in Norway, may also receive economic support. CUNP will pay travel costs in economy class.

The stay in Norway will be supported with up to NOK 20.000 for one month.The grant will be transferred to the Norwegian host, who administers it on behalf of the invited research fellow.
